Interested in sport and recreational research? Would you like to work on research of national and international importance?

Substance is looking to appoint a new member to our research team who can throw themselves into the delivery, administration and analysis of major research projects.

This will involve working on an exciting variety of projects of such as: football research for UEFA, research on recreational angling and fisheries for Defra, Cefas and the Environment Agency, sport and physical activity strategies and community assets for Sport England and GM Moving and RNLI volunteer research.

Activities will include:
  • Literature and Documentary Review
  • Recruitment and Engagement of Research Participants
  • Delivery of Surveys
  • Conducting Interviews
  • Other Qualitative Research Exercises
  • Preparing Analysis and Summary Reporting
