As part of this exciting collaboration, it is currently free for any organisation using Views to join the DataHub and access relevant intelligence. This integration is also supported by the County Sport Partnership Intelligence Programme, with CSPs across England supporting local partners to maximise benefits from this insight, including how to use it to target funding opportunities.

About Views

Views is a Smart but Simple Impact Reporting Platform. It was built by Substance, a Research and Technology company passionate about helping organisations working in sport, physical activity and health improvement to demonstrate the difference their work is making.

Substance works with hundreds of charities who use to sport to improve lives, including GreenHouse SportsStreetGamesPremiership RugbyMind and Macmillan Cancer SupportAll of them use Views to collect activity data and capture evidence about the impact their work is having on the lives of their participants and the wider community.

This means that Views has been developed to help you capture the data which is critical for funders of sport for development programmes, as well as making the same data work harder, giving you better insight on what works.

About the DataHub

The collaborative DataHub project was launched in 2014 as an automated way for all sport, leisure and physical activity providers across the sector to securely bring their data together, align it with consistent sector data standards and then access and share business and participation intelligence and best practice, at the point of decision.

The result is that all DataHub Club members (facility operators and activity providers) now have direct access to accurate reporting information, relative benchmarks and actionable operational solutions, based on a growing shared repository of over 1 million active visits every day (7 million individuals, 4,229 venues, and a range of community programmes and individual apps). Knowing what works best, where and when, is impacting physical activity participation and subsequent economic and social returns. As importantly, outcomes are now being monitored and evidenced in a consistent way, creating a continuous cycle of improvement.

The intelligence generated is on an unprecedented level within this sector, and involves collaboration with organisations such as ukactive, Sporta, CLOA, CSPN, CIMSPA, Sport Wales, National Governing Bodies and County Sport Partnerships. www.DataHubClub.com
